We're hiring high performers as proven as our products. Join us. ATI is seeking a Lab Aide to join our facility in Richland, Washington. Our Richland Operation specializes in melting Titanium and Titanium Alloys to produce ingots for use in multiple applications in the Aerospace and Medical Markets. Employees in this position must have basic math and computer skills. Additionally, the ability to stay organized and ensure accuracy is crucial for producing reliable data. A minimum of six months of laboratory experience and the ability to operate analytical laboratory equipment are preferred. Position to operate in an analytical laboratory environment. Attention to detail is critical in this position. Employees are required to work safely, as providing a safe environment to work in is the company's top priority. This position works a rotating shift consisting of 12.25 hours (overtime paid after 8 hours of each shift). Shifts rotate weekly from days to nights, and hours are 5:45 am
  • 6:00 pm and/or 5:45 pm
  • 6:00 am.
Position Responsibilities:
Operation of scales to ensure accurate material weights Assists with sample processing, including storage, archiving, disposal, shipping, testing of samples, and pulling samples from the furnace Conducts melt sample preparation, including button melting, punch press, and lathe operation Assists with testing on various samples in the laboratory using various laboratory equipment and using the LabTrack computer system to enter data collected Maintains daily check sheets and log books in the laboratory Conduct PM maintenance: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually Laboratory cleaning duties as assigned including sweeping, organizing, cleaning surfaces, etc. Safety observations and various safety trainings; daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually Must be able to operate forklifts Other training and duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to follow work, process, quality, and safety procedures Strict attention to detail Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interact well with employees, customers, and management. Proficient in computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, using word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Desirable to have experience with statistical software packages. Basic math skills Basic computer skills
Preferred Experience:

$19.84 / Hour
