In this role, you will support the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining high-quality testing procedures, accurate data collection, and adherence to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced I-502 Regulated Cannabis Lab Extraction environment dedicated to the development and quality assurance of State-regulated products. At Lifted Cannabis Company you will be challenged to work tactically to ensure complete and on-time execution of production schedules. The ability to time-manage and prioritize daily tasks/multi-task will be critical, as you will need strong situational awareness and EQ when asked to jump from task to task. We are looking for dedicated, devoted, goal-oriented individuals, with good communication skills, who like working in a team-oriented environment to accomplish goals. Responsibilities Prepping of biomass for the purpose of cannabis extraction through a Closed-loop Hydrocarbon Extraction method. (Weighing, grinding, properly packing filter socks in accordance to Lifted Cannabis standards) Maintain accurate record of "pre-prepped, sorted by lot info, and weighed" biomass ready for extraction Record and maintain biomass to extraction logs and data sheets. Assist Extraction Operator with operating and handling of Close-loop Hydrocarbon extractor. Safely assist Extractor Operator in cleaning and maintaining of extraction equipment including closed-loop hydrocarbon system, distillations systems, pumps, filters and evaporators according to our SOP's. Safely handle hazardous materials (Butane, Propane, Ethanol, etc.), and adhere to safe chemical handling and disposing procedures defined by SOP's and MSDS. Safely handle and dispose of cannabis waste according to processes defined in SOP's in accordance to I-502 regulations on waste disposal. Maintaining equipment health by performing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly checks Clean and sanitize glassware, lab ware, transfer materials, storage vessels, tools and working surfaces. Ensure the safety of themselves and other by maintaining a safe and orderly workspace. Support inventory management of chemicals, reagents, and laboratory supplies while adhering to chemical handling safety procedures Requirements Prior experience working in an industrial or clinical laboratory strongly encouraged Strong record keeping skills with attention to detail for accurate data collection and documentation Ability to follow detailed laboratory procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a research or development setting Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing and data analysis Effective communication skills to collaborate within a team environment focused on scientific research and quality assurance Join us as we advance innovative research through meticulous testing and rigorous quality standards.
