Job Description
About the Role Seeking an Environmental Laboratory Technician to support wastewater and environmental sample analysis in a laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience handling environmental samples, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Perform testing including TSS, Fecal Coliform, Ammonia, pH, and BOD.Collect and handle environmental and air samples following chain of custody procedures.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
Use microscopes to identify bacteria in wastewater samples.
Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and data entry in LIMS.Support data validation and standard operating procedure updates.
Follow all laboratory safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Assist with industrial pretreatment sampling as needed.
QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred.
Experience analyzing environmental samples preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience with laboratory equipment and sample handling procedures preferred.

Pay:
