In this energetic and essential position, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and ensuring the integrity of various biological specimens. Your work directly supports patient care by maintaining high standards of laboratory procedures and safety protocols. Responsibilities Collect a wide range of specimens including blood, urine, saliva, and other biological samples following strict aseptic techniques and laboratory protocols. Prepare specimens for analysis by labeling accurately, processing appropriately, and documenting all collection details thoroughly. Maintain strict adherence to laboratory management standards, including proper storage, transportation, and disposal of specimens in accordance with safety guidelines. Assist in laboratory management tasks such as inventory control, equipment calibration, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold optimal laboratory conditions. Communicate effectively with patients across diverse populations to explain procedures and ensure cooperation. Follow all safety protocols related to infection control measures to protect yourself and others. Document all activities meticulously Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must have reliable transportation Must be available weekends and outside of business hours for testing both at our facility and onsite at our clients location. Must be comfortable working with technology including tablets and desktop computers. Experience performing drug testing including regulatory testing desired Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients of all ages—including pediatrics—and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
