Night Shift Nurse (LPN or RN) | Full-Time Calhoun County Jail | Alabama 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM | Rotating Schedule | Full Benefits Your Nursing Skills Matter Here Looking for a nursing position where every shift brings purpose, variety, and the opportunity to make a real difference? Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Calhoun County Jail. This full-time night shift opportunity allows you to utilize your clinical skills, exercise critical thinking, and provide essential healthcare services to a patient population that depends on compassionate, professional care. Whether you're an experienced correctional nurse or looking to expand your nursing career into a new specialty, we provide the training, support, and resources to help you succeed. What You'll Do As a member of our healthcare team, you'll play a vital role in delivering quality patient care throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include:
Administering medications and treatments Conducting patient assessments and sick call evaluations Monitoring chronic and acute medical conditions Responding to urgent and emergent healthcare needs Collaborating with providers and fellow healthcare professionals Maintaining accurate medical documentation Supporting patient education and wellness initiatives Promoting safe, ethical, and professional nursing care Qualifications Active Alabama LPN or RN license Current CPR certification Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Commitment to patient-centered care Correctional, emergency, long-term care, medical-surgical, or behavioral health experience is a plus but not required
Schedule Full-Time Position Night Shift:
