Job Description
LPN•Internal Medicine / Primary Care We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic medical team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced clinical environment while contributing to a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, including obtaining vital signs and medical histories. Prepare patients for exams and treatments, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available. Administer injections, medications, and other treatments as directed by the provider. Perform EKGs and other basic clinical procedures as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records. Support daily office operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, responding to patient questions, and processing medication refill requests. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Assist with implementation and use of medical technology, equipment, and electronic medical records systems. Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes and patient satisfaction. Qualifications Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, or RMA) required. LPNs are encouraged to apply. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a related healthcare field preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic clinical procedures. Basic understanding of medical coding and billing procedures preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced clinical setting with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Previous experience in a physician office, clinic, or hospital setting preferred. Schedule Monday•
