Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing support and direct care within our Forensic 16-bed residential group home for men in Greenville . This position operates within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, focusing on person-centered care, medication management, wellness support, stabilization, and coordination of services for adults with mental health diagnoses in a secure forensic residential setting. Experience working in behavioral health is preferred. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent Successful completion of an LPN program with current licensure through the Alabama Board of Nursing Relevant nursing experience required; behavioral health or forensic residential experience preferred Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills Ability to work effectively in a secure residential behavioral health setting Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays Must successfully pass a background check

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care and support for individuals receiving services within the forensic residential group home Conduct nursing assessments, monitor consumer health status, and document clinical findings Administer medications and treatments as directed by physician orders Provide education, training, testing, monitoring, evaluation, and updates for MAC/MAS staff and nursing personnel Support stabilization, wellness monitoring, and continuity of care within the CCBHC care model Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to promote recovery-focused, person-centered care Assist in maintaining a safe, structured, therapeutic, and secure residential environment Communicate with treatment team members regarding changes in consumer condition, medication concerns, or clinical care needs Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with agency standards and regulatory requirements

Work Environment:

Work directly with adult men receiving behavioral health services in a secure forensic residential setting Support medication management, daily wellness, stabilization, and continuity of care for individuals with mental health diagnoses Engage in meaningful work that promotes safety, rehabilitation, recovery, and improved long-term outcomes ALL candidates must be able to type and have basic computer skills, possess a valid driver's license, eligibility for coverage under center liability insurance and individually held vehicle liability insurance with a clear background check.
