Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and organized LPN Staffing Coordinator to manage daily staffing operations in our long-term care facility. This role is responsible for ensuring adequate nursing staff coverage while maintaining compliance with state regulations and facility standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly nursing staff schedules (LPNs, RNs, and CNAs) Ensure staffing levels meet census needs, acuity, and regulatory requirements Monitor call-offs and arrange appropriate coverage in a timely manner Communicate staffing needs with nursing leadership and department heads Maintain accurate staffing records, schedules, and timekeeping documentation Assist with orientation scheduling and onboarding of new nursing staff Support emergency staffing and contingency plans as needed Promote teamwork and positive communication among staff Ensure compliance with facility policies, labor laws, and state/federal regulations The LPN will also work part time assisting the admissions coordinator in the admissions department reviewing potential resident referrals. Qualifications Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing required Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing required Staffing, scheduling, or supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to handle confidential information professionally Proficiency with scheduling and payroll software preferred
