  • Emergency Room We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team.
In this role, you will provide high-quality care that supports patients' recovery and promotes long-term wellness. You'll play a vital role in educating patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans. The ideal candidate is a responsible, well-trained professional with strong clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care. You must be able to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Must be willing to cross train to the medical/surgical floor. Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients' conditions to deliver personalized and effective care Observe and interpret symptoms, reporting changes to the medical team promptly Collaborate with physicians and fellow nurses to create and implement care plans Perform routine nursing tasks (e.g., blood pressure checks, injections, chart documentation) Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic care environment (e.g., sanitize equipment, prep patient areas) Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies Assist physicians and surgeons during procedures and operations Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families Stay current on best practices by attending workshops, seminars, and continued education Qualifications & Skills Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Graduate of an accredited nursing program Proven nursing experience in a clinical setting Current BLS certification (required) ACLS and PALS certifications required within one year of employment Excellent understanding of medical protocols and emergency care procedures Knowledge of sanitation, decontamination, and infection control practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented Highly organized, with exceptional multitasking and problem-solving abilities Patient, compassionate, and committed to continuous professional growth
