Job Description
Find your calling at Mercy! Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.

Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse Education :
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.Licensure :
Licensed as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the state of practice.Preferred Experience:
6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.Registered Nurse Qualifications:
Education :
Associate of Applied Science or Bachelor's Degree inNursing Licensure :
Active RN licensurePreferred Experience :
6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care officeCertifications :
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hireNOTE:
one or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
S.T.A.B.L.E.
(Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)- Six Assessment & Care Modules
- Other unit-specific certifications as required
