Full-Time Position Summary A wellness and recovery facility in Russellville, Arkansas, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to join its medical detoxification team. The LPN will provide direct nursing care to individuals experiencing withdrawal from alcohol and other substances in a structured, supportive recovery environment. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, physician or other authorized medical provider, the LPN will monitor patients throughout the detoxification process, administer prescribed medications, document changes in condition and promptly report medical or behavioral concerns. Experienced LPNs, entry-level candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Training and support will be provided to help the selected candidate become successful in the position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients admitted to the medical detoxification program. Obtain and document vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, pain levels and changes in patients' physical or behavioral condition. Complete nursing intake procedures and collect health histories, medication information and other required clinical data. Monitor patients for signs of alcohol, opioid, benzodiazepine and other substance withdrawal. Use facility-approved withdrawal-assessment tools and protocols as assigned and within the LPN scope of practice. Immediately report abnormal findings, worsening withdrawal symptoms or changes in patient condition to the supervising RN or medical provider. Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders, established protocols and applicable nursing regulations. Monitor patients for medication effectiveness, adverse reactions, over-sedation and other potential complications. Maintain accurate medication-administration records and assist with medication inventory, storage and controlled-substance counts. Support medication-assisted treatment services as ordered by authorized providers. Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges while ensuring all required nursing documentation is completed. Maintain complete, accurate and timely electronic and written clinical records. Communicate patient information during shift changes and participate in interdisciplinary treatment-team communication. Provide patients with education regarding medications, withdrawal management, recovery, relapse prevention and continuing care. Respond appropriately to medical emergencies, behavioral crises, falls, overdose concerns and other urgent situations. Follow infection-control procedures, patient-safety standards and emergency-response protocols. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with

Part 2 and organizational policies. Treat every patient with dignity, professionalism and respect while maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries. Collaborate with physicians, RNs, behavioral-health professionals, counselors, peer-support specialists and other members of the treatment team. Perform additional nursing duties within the LPN scope of practice as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Current Arkansas Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing, or eligibility to obtain licensure upon graduation and successful completion of the

NCLEX-PN.

Graduate of an approved practical-nursing program. Current CPR/BLS certification or the ability to obtain certification within the required timeframe. Ability to administer medications and perform nursing duties within the Arkansas LPN scope of practice. Ability to recognize and promptly communicate changes in a patient's medical or behavioral condition. Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and protect confidential patient information. Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing substance-use disorders, withdrawal symptoms and co-occurring mental-health conditions. Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays when required.
