The ideal candidate will have experience in various clinical settings, including teaching hospitals, outpatient care, and emergency medicine. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting the nursing team, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients across different age groups, including toddlers. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Assist in triage and case management to prioritize patient needs effectively. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in emergency medicine procedures when necessary. Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in all patient interactions. Qualifications Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience in critical care or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient assessments. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
