The MDS Nurse is responsible for identifying resident acuity and helping to determine specific care needs and communicating those needs and expectations to families and responsible parties. The MDS Nurse oversees the clinical reimbursement of the facility and ensures that Medicare and Medicaid compliance is maintained.
