Licensed Vocational Nurse
  • Clinical Quality Assurance (LVN): Role Summary
  • We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse
  • Clinical Quality Assurance (LVN) to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for an experienced LVN who is passionate about clinical excellence, quality improvement, provider education, and patient care. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you'll help ensure the highest standards of documentation, compliance, and clinical quality while supporting providers both in the office and in the field. About the Role This position is headquartered in our Alhambra office , where you'll work closely with our Quality Assurance team, providers, and clinical leadership. To support our statewide clinical operations, you'll also spend time in the field—typically two or more days each week , depending on business needs.
Field responsibilities may include:
Conducting skin sweeps and patient evaluations Participating in skills fairs and provider education Performing quality assurance visits Supporting provider onboarding and training Assisting with other clinical and operational initiatives Most travel consists of local day trips throughout Southern California. Occasional overnight or air travel may be required for special projects or operational support. All approved business travel expenses are fully covered by the company , including mileage reimbursement, airfare, lodging, meals, rental vehicles, and other necessary travel expenses. What You'll Do Review provider documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. Conduct chart audits and support quality assurance initiatives. Train and onboard providers on documentation standards and clinical workflows. Monitor documentation timeliness and wound healing progress. Assist with biologic documentation and quality improvement projects. Perform skin evaluations, skin sweeps, and other clinical support activities during field visits. Serve as a resource for providers regarding documentation standards and best practices. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and operational leadership to promote exceptional patient care. Support additional quality assurance and clinical projects as assigned. What We're Looking For Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license. Current BLS/CPR certification. Two or more years of nursing experience, preferably in post-acute care, home health, or a related specialty. Minimum one (1) year of wound care experience required. Experience using electronic medical record systems (PointClickCare experience is a plus). Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Comfortable working in both an office and field-based environment, with flexibility to travel throughout Southern California approximately two or more days per week.
