Anaheim, CA Job Details Per diem $40 - $45 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification LVN BLS Certification Driver's License Full Job Description The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides skilled nursing care, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. The LVN performs selected skilled actions in the provision of curative, rehabilitative, palliative, or preventative nursing care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Registered Nurse in carrying out the plan of care and performing specialized procedures under physician's orders. Recognizes, and understands, the effects of social and economic problems upon patients and provides for the emotional and physical comfort and safety of patients. Help educate the patient and family members on the appropriate self-care techniques. Fosters cooperative effort, among the clinical care team, by understanding the functions of other roles involved in patient care and active participation in team and staff conferences. Prepares clinical and progress notes, observes, records, and reports, to the appropriate person, patient symptoms, reactions, and changes in general physical and mental condition of patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be licensed in the state of California as a Licensed Vocational Nurse One, or more years in Home Health Agency or in a hospital setting. Home health experience preferred. Must successfully complete a criminal background check. Must have current CPR certification. Online certification is not accepted Drivers license without restrictions and reliable personal vehicle required
