Licensed Vocational Nurse Trial Space Compton, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $29 - $34 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications LVN Phlebotomy Attention to detail Patient interaction Medical terminology Patient observation Full Job Description Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients. The position is for an inpatient research facility primarily working with psychiatric patients who are actively participating in a clinical trial. Duties Administer medications, injections, and treatments accurately according to physician orders and facility protocols. Monitor patient vital signs, observe for changes in condition, and document all findings meticulously. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate effective treatment strategies. Assist with meal prep and dietary needs for patients. Maintain detailed records of patient care activities, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. Skills Valid state licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with current certification. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Compassionate demeanor combined with a proactive attitude toward patient care. Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and handle emergencies calmly and confidently. Psychiatry experience a plus Phlebotomy certification a plus
