Licensed Vocational Nurse EGN Home Care Fairfield, CA Job Details Part-time | Per diem From $45 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities CPR Certification Skilled nursing facility experience LVN BLS Certification Care documentation Patient interaction Full Job Description We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide direct nursing care to clients with specialized healthcare needs in Fairfield, Vacaville, Suisun City, and Rio Vista. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with G-tube feeding and care, colostomy care, and urinary catheter care. Responsibilities
  • Provide G-tube feeding, medication administration, flushing, and routine G-tube site care according to physician orders and the client's plan of care.
  • Provide colostomy care, including pouch changes, skin assessment, hygiene, and monitoring of output.
  • Provide urinary catheter care, including routine catheter and perineal care, drainage-bag management, and monitoring urine output.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within LVN scope of practice.
  • Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, treatments, and changes in the client's condition.
  • Recognize and promptly report signs of infection, skin breakdown, G-tube complications, catheter problems, or other health concerns.
  • Follow infection-control and safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the RN, physician, family, caregivers, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Complete all required nursing documentation accurately and on time.
  • Follow individualized plans of care and company policies and procedures. Qualifications
  • Current and active California LVN license in good standing.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Experience with G-tube feeding and care preferred.
  • Experience with colostomy care preferred.
  • Experience with urinary catheter care preferred.
  • Strong clinical observation, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Dependable, professional, patient, and compassionate.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or complex medical needs is a plus.
Preferred Experience Experience in home health, residential care, ARF/ARF-PSHN, skilled nursing, or private-duty nursing is highly preferred.
