The LVN provides high-quality nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and physician while supporting safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical care. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment. Essential Responsibilities Provide direct patient care within the LVN scope of practice. Assist with patient intake, preparation, and discharge. Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient assessments. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider and permitted by state regulations. Monitor patients before and after procedures, promptly reporting changes in condition to the Registered Nurse or physician. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Prepare examination and procedure rooms, ensuring equipment and supplies are stocked and readily available. Maintain infection prevention and sterile technique standards. Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure instructions. Collaborate with physicians, Registered Nurses, Surgical Technologists, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care. Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, accreditation standards, and all company policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing. Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or willingness to obtain. Minimum of one year of LVN experience preferred; ambulatory surgery center, surgical, procedural, or outpatient experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of infection prevention, patient safety, and medication administration. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Pay $35.00-$45.00 per hour, depending on experience.
