Job Description

Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Exciting summer opportunity for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support students in a dynamic school environment near Grover Beach, CA! This contract position runs from June 15, 2026, to July 8, 2026, with observed holidays on Juneteenth and July 3rd. Your days will be filled with variety, collaboration, and meaningful student interaction, both on campus and during special activities such as field trips.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
Active and unencumbered California LVN license Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus Competency in catheter care and management Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to adapt quickly to changing caseloads or environments Female LVN candidates are strongly encouraged, as per facility preference
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on nursing care to students with diverse health needs, including catheter support Accompany and provide medical support to students and staff during field trips Step into the LVN Pool as needed, covering for absent staff or urgent situations Collaborate closely with teaching and support staff to foster a safe and inclusive environment Maintain accurate and timely medical records in line with school and state protocols What to

This is a full-time, onsite role with a schedule of 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday (30-minute unpaid lunch). You'll play a vital part in helping students access their educational programs safely during the busy summer session.
