Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. This role requires a strong understanding of patient needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed. Provide support in emergency medicine situations, demonstrating quick thinking and effective response. Document patient information accurately using electronic health records systems such as Epic. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Perform suture removal and other minor procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all safety protocols. Qualifications Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice. Experience in nursing home settings or memory care preferred. Familiarity with infection control protocols and best practices. Proficient in medication administration and patient assessment techniques. Knowledge of emergency medicine procedures is advantageous. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
