Direct and supervise nursing assistants to ensure daily functions are carried out in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and regulations. Oversee resident care delivery , making rounds to evaluate residents' physical and emotional status, and ensure care plans are followed. Administer and document medications and treatments accurately, ensuring compliance with physician orders and facility protocols. Complete and maintain required documentation (nursing notes, incident reports, care plans, physician orders, census reports, etc.) in an accurate and timely manner. Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge processes , including orientation of residents/families, updating records, and coordinating with other departments. Lead and support assigned nursing personnel , including staffing assignments, performance feedback, and training to maintain high standards of care. Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, including diagnostic services, rehabilitation, and social activities. Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures , monitoring personnel adherence to established standards. Support quality assurance and survey readiness , participating in inspections, audits, and policy updates as needed. Maintain professional licensure and certifications while actively engaging in continuing education, staff development, and in-service training programs.
