Job Description

Job Overview We seek a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver/ Med Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the well-being of individuals in various settings such as assisted living facilities, home care, and hospice environments. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality by HIPAA regulations. •Rate will be discussed during the interview•Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions. Perform catheter care and other medical procedures as necessary. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records for each patient. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality. Support patients with developmental disabilities by providing tailored care and assistance. Engage with patients in a compassionate manner, promoting their dignity and comfort during care. Collect and process blood, urine, and tissue samples Analyze test results and report findings Skills Strong knowledge of senior care practices and principles of patient care. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Experience in home care settings, including assisted living environments. Proficiency in catheter care and medication administration techniques. Ability to provide hospice care with empathy and respect for patients' needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Strong organizational skills for accurate medical documentation and record keeping. Compassionate approach towards working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Requirements:
