Job Description

Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students' well-being as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for summer school homebound services. This opportunity is based near Moreno Valley, CA, and is designed for skilled professionals passionate about making a positive impact in a student's daily life. In this position, you will work directly with a middle school-aged student, providing essential nursing care in a one-on-one setting. The assignment runs ASAP through July, Monday through Friday with half-day hours—offering flexibility for your summer plans while making a meaningful difference.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid California LVN or LPN license Experience providing nursing care in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred Ability to work independently and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, educators, and healthcare professionals Up-to-date CPR certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized nursing services to a middle school student in a homebound environment Monitor, document, and report on the student's health status and respond to any emerging medical needs Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as necessary and in accordance with care plans Serve as a vital support partner for the student and family and coordinate care with the broader educational team This contract offers competitive weekly pay and immediate hiring, providing a seamless onboarding experience and the chance to secure a valuable summer assignment quickly.
