Job Description

Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding summer opportunity as a Licensed Vocational Nurse providing essential homebound care for a middle-school-aged student. This contract position is based close to Murrieta, CA, and offers a fulfilling role supporting one student's health and educational needs during summer school sessions. In this position, you'll deliver compassionate one-on-one care to ensure your student's well-being while enabling access to educational services. The assignment runs from as soon as possible through July, with a Monday through Friday schedule—enjoy your afternoons free with this half-day shift.
Key Qualifications:
Active California LVN/LPN license required Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desired Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students and educators Ability to provide medical interventions, monitor health status, and maintain documentation Current CPR and First Aid certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one homebound nursing care to a middle school student during summer school hours Administer scheduled and as-needed medications and treatments according to the care plan Observe for and respond promptly to health changes, reporting to guardians and school health personnel Collaborate with educators and family members to support the student's educational participation and overall health Maintain clear and confidential records of care provided
