Requirements Valid state licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU, emergency room, or trauma centers is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Ability to perform venipuncture (venipuncture), phlebotomy, catheter care, and specimen collection/processing efficiently and safely. Excellent patient assessment skills coupled with the ability to manage complex cases involving acute pain management or infectious disease care.
