Description:
Acute Medical Staffing is urgently hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment in Texarkana, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced LPN looking for consistent contract hours in an acute rehabilitation setting.

6:00 AM - 6:30
PM Shift Length:
12 hours with scheduled meal break Approximately 23 shifts available
Pay Rate:
$40.00/hour

Temporary Start:
ASAP Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting Administer medications and treatments as ordered Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to care Obtain and document vital signs Assist with patient care planning and implementation Communicate changes in patient condition to the RN and interdisciplinary care team Maintain accurate clinical documentation Follow facility policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
Requirements:
Requirements Current, unrestricted Texas LPN/LVN license or applicable compact eligibility Current BLS/CPR certification Previous acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or similar clinical experience preferred Current physical and required health screenings Ability to pass required background and credentialing requirements Reliable transportation Ability to work 12-hour day shifts Availability for the duration of the contract preferred Immediate need — qualified candidates available to start quickly will receive priority consideration.
