3 months + contract extensions
Schedule:
Shift start & end times: 7-4, 8-5 .
Workdays per week:
M-F, Saturdays (Special projects) What are the top responsibilities for this position? (Please be as detailed as possible as to what tasks will be conducted on a daily basis): Provides direct patient care, assists with examinations, and supports daily clinical operations. Check and record vital signs, height, weight, and initial patient history. Administer prescribed oral medications, injections, immunizations and IV hydration. Assist doctors with physical exams, minor procedures, and diagnostic tests. Collect specimens like blood (via venipuncture or finger sticks) and urine, then prepare them for lab analysis. Maintain POCT QI control logs. Clean wounds, apply and remove dressings, take out sutures. Document and update patient electronic medical records.
Care Coordination:
Coordinate post hospital discharge visits and care
Patient Flow:
Support medical assistant staff with day-to-day activities, answer phone calls, relay messages to patients.
Must have qualifications/experience:
1-2 years Ambulatory care, Primary Care Experience What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart? IV hydration, Urine catheter experience Type of certification required: CPR Dress code/scrub color: Blue Scrubs Is travel required for this role? If yes, when and how often? No Will they travel to more than one location within a work shift? No Will work take place in a patient's home? No What type of interview process is preferred?
