Licensed Vocational Nurse - Part-Time - Private Duty Nurse

A wonderful family in Riverside is looking for a compassionate LVN to provide care for their 13-year-old son with complex medical needs. They are looking for an active, energetic, and engaging individual for a long-term assignment. Jayden experiences neurological crying episodes, and therefore, patience and compassion are essential.

Part-Time Days Tuesday-Thursday:

4pm-10pm and

Saturdays:

11am-7pm (weekend hours subject to change based on needs of family and availability of staff). $32

NOTE:

If hired, applicants must be available to work the full hours outlined for the position. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to the specified days and hours.

Duties Include:

• Medication administration (via G tube)
• Monitoring for seizure activity
• Administration and monitoring of G tube feedings
• Incontinence care
• Turning and repositioning
• transfers with a ceiling lift
• Bathing, dressing, mouth care
• Educational support and engagement
• Full time nurse will accompany Jayden to school, doctors and specialists appointments.

Qualifications:

• Nursing license must be active and in good standing
• Must be CPR certified
• Willingness to have a background check
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Must be a highly patient and compassionate person
• Ability to recognize and respond to the needs of children with high medical needs.

$32-33 per hour Based on relevant experience, licensure and credentials.
