Job Description
The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a ! This is a full-time building support role providing a local K-12 district with nursing services. Working with The Stepping Stones Group means consistent pay, clinical backing from experienced nurses, and support from a team that understands school-based nursing - not just staffing. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
BLS CPR/AED
certification- Pediatric and private duty nursing experience preferred
- Long‑term care, outpatient, or home health
- EMR proficiency (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 1+ year LVN experience in acute care
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Patient care delivery
- — Provide basic nursing care including vital signs, wound care, hygiene assistance, and comfort measures
- Medication administration
- — Administer medications per California LVN scope of practice and facility protocols
- Clinical documentation
- — Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records
- Treatment support
- — Assist with procedures, diagnostic tests, and physician ordered interventions
- Care coordination
- — Communicate patient status changes to supervising RNs and providers
- Infection control
- — Follow state and facility infection prevention standards
- Patient education
- — Reinforce care instructions and support patient understanding of treatment plans.\
- Ability to meet physical demands
- (lifting 25-50 lbs, standing for extended periods)
