As an LPN, you'll collaborate with education professionals to foster a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment for students of all ages.
Desired Qualifications:
Current, active LPN license in California Previous experience in a pediatric, school, or community health setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team CPR and First Aid certification required Attention to detail, and excellent documentation skills Adaptable to varied student and school needs
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to students with acute or chronic health conditions Administer prescribed medications and treatments Maintain accurate and timely health records Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff on student health matters Respond to medical emergencies and perform triage as needed Promote a safe and healthy environment throughout the school Support prevention and wellness education efforts Adhere to all confidentiality and professional standards Take part in supporting educational success by ensuring student health is always a priority.
