Staff Educator (RN or LPN) 24 hours Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at Branford Hills Branford, CT Job Details Part-time 2 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic, flexible Staff Educator (RN or LPN) to lead our 24-hour clinical training initiatives. This role ensures our nursing staff maintains the highest standards of clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities Orientation:
Lead onboarding for new clinical hires across all shifts.
Competencies:
Conduct annual and ongoing clinical skills assessments.
In-Servicing:
Deliver mandatory training on equipment, safety, and compliance.
Flexibility:
Coordinate and deliver educational sessions during night and weekend shifts.
Documentation:
Maintain records of staff training and certifications.
Qualifications License:
Active, unencumbered state license as an RN or LPN..
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience required.
Instruction:
Prior experience is preferred.
Schedule:
Ability to work flexible hours to cover 24-hour shift needs.
BLS:
Current Basic Life Support certification required; Instructor card preferred. Knowledge and Skills Strong clinical knowledge. Excellent public speaking skills. Proficient with electronic health records. Ability to motivate adult learners
