Every other weekend 7:00am- 11:00am
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: All duties are subject to accommodation in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Patient Care and Assessment Monitor and document clients' responses to methadone treatment and any side effects or complications. Administer methadone and suboxone doses in accordance with clinic protocols and ensure accurate dosage and timing. Medication Management Prepare and dispense methadone and other prescribed medications. Monitor clients for signs of medication misuse or adverse reactions. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and client progress. Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for each client Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinic documentation requirements. Report any significant changes in clients' health status or treatment response to the appropriate supervisor. Compliance and Quality Assurance Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing methadone treatment and opioid addiction. Professional Development Stay current with best practices, trends, and regulations in addiction treatment and nursing. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities related to methadone treatment and addiction recovery.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Experience Previous experience in a methadone clinic or addiction treatment setting is preferred. Experience in medication management and patient education. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare documentation systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Personal Attributes Compassionate and empathetic towards clients struggling with addiction. Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Ability to handle stressful situations and respond to emergencies calmly.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
: LPN with a valid state license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Experience in addiction treatment or a related field is highly desirable. Valid driver's license
