Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Dental insurance Pension Benefits through Union Vision insurance Flexible schedule Life insurance Disability insurance Referral program Paid training Paid sick time Retirement plan Summary of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations and as directed by the Director of Nursing. Responsibilities Provide bedside care. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects. Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards. Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. Assist with resident comfort. Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas. Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care. Help coach staff as necessary. Qualifications Up to date first aid and CPR certification. Current LPN license in . Exceptional staff training and customer service skills. Compassionate and friendly demeanor. Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills. Effective verbal and written English communication skills. Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
