We are seeking a licensed and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our pediatric team. This role involves working closely with our pediatricians, staff, and families to provide exceptional clinical support and ensure a welcoming experience for our patients. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome to apply.Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, vaccinations, specimen collection, and administering medications Assist with patient intake and documentation in the EHR Educate parents and caregivers on child health, wellness, and treatment plans Support physicians during examinations and minor procedures Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report concerns Maintain clean and organized clinical areas in compliance with infection control protocols Participate in care coordination and follow-up with families Telephone triage as neededQualifications:
Active LPN license in Connecticut Current BLS certification Previous experience in pediatrics strongly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, family-focused environmentWork Schedule:
