Per Diem / School-Year Coverage The Nurse Network is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our School Nurse Team and provide one-on-one care for students with complex medical needs throughout the school year in the Waterbury area. We currently have multiple substitute openings supporting different students across various school settings. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy working with children, value schedule flexibility, and want to make a meaningful impact in students' lives. Our students require specialized nursing care, including support for: Seizure disorders G-tube feeding and management Diabetes management, including insulin administration and monitoring Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) management Insulin pump management

Schedules:

Assignment hours vary based on individual student needs. Available shifts may start as early as 6:00 AM and end as late as 4:00 PM , Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

Active Connecticut LPN license Current CPR/BLS certification Minimum of one year of LPN experience Experience with diabetes management, including CGMs and insulin pumps Experience with seizure management G-tube care experience required Pediatric one-on-one nursing and/or home care experience preferred Ability to provide compassionate, individualized care in a school setting
