•$29.79 / hour Summary Performs and documents selected acts such as the administration of treatments and medications in delivery of patient care under the guidance and discretion of the registered nurse. Assist the RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to established policies. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Requirements Education:
Graduate of an accredited vocational school of nursing.
Experience:
At least one year required. One year preferred recent experience in a similar acute care setting. Must be able to float throughout the HPCC. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment. Experience requirements may vary by department. Certifications:
30-hour IV Course required. BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support)required. Certification requirements may vary by department. Please reference theNursing Addendums for department specific requirements.
License:
Currently licensed or eligible for LPN licensure in the State of Florida.
Other:
Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
