Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Location:
Lakeland, FL Shift:
Full-Time, All Shifts Pay Rate:
Up to $33 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and document medications and treatments accurately and on time. Assist physicians and healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures and treatments. Monitor and report residents' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition. Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures. Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents. Maintain accurate nursing documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team. Ensure adherence to infection control procedures and facility policies. Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions. Support CNAs and nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to resident assessments. Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Valid LPN license in Florida. CPR certification required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or related settings. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
