Patient interaction Home health Medical imaging Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, with the ability to work effectively in various clinical settings. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing essential nursing services, supporting patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Assist in diagnostic evaluations and medical imaging procedures. Provide catheterization services and support patients with acute pain management. Engage in case management activities to coordinate patient care effectively. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Participate in family planning discussions and provide relevant resources. Document patient information accurately in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience in travel nursing is preferred but not required. Proficiency in performing vital signs assessments and catheterization techniques. Knowledge of sonography principles is a plus. Familiarity with case management processes and family planning practices is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
