What You'll Do As an Aveanna LPN, you'll provide skilled nursing care in the comfort of the patient's home while working closely with the patient, family, and clinical team.

Responsibilities may include:

Providing skilled private duty nursing care Providing tracheostomy and ventilator care Monitoring the patient and reporting changes in condition Administering medications and treatments as ordered Completing accurate electronic documentation Following the established plan of care Supporting the patient's comfort, safety, and daily needs Building a trusting relationship with the patient and family Communicating effectively with the clinical team regarding patient needs Qualifications Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered LPN license in the state in which the clinician will practice Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days Current CPR certification with hands-on component Aveanna can assist with obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary Current TB skin test within the last 12 months Trach/vent experience preferred Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience preferred, but not required Must have reliable transportation Strong communication and documentation skills Dependable and committed to providing consistent patient care Join the Aveanna Family We consider it both a privilege and an honor when we welcome a new patient into our Aveanna family.
