Job Overview Join our Pain Management Clinic as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) dedicated to improving patient comfort and quality of life. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care tailored to individuals experiencing chronic pain conditions. Your energetic and compassionate approach will support our multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional patient-centered care, ensuring accurate assessments, effective treatments, and seamless clinic operations. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and pain evaluations using EMR/EHR systems. Assist physicians with pain management injections, while maintaining sterile technique. Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and clinical notes meticulously in electronic health records systems. Educate patients on pain management strategies, medication usage, and post-treatment care plans to promote optimal recovery. Requirements Valid LPN license in good standing with the state licensing board. Proven experience working in pain management clinics or related settings such as hospital medicine or outpatient care. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding (ICD-9/10). Experience with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management. Familiarity with long-term care regulations, hospice care principles, dementia or Alzheimer's care is a plus. Excellent communication skills for caregiver interaction and patient education; ability to work effectively with geriatric populations and individuals with developmental disabilities. Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as CPR or first aid are advantageous. Join us in delivering compassionate pain management that transforms lives! From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 26.0 per week
