Responsibilities:
Follow physicians care plan: assessment, interventions, identification of outcomes, and the evaluation of care. Administer medication to patients according to prescribed physician orders. Provides first aid care and medically prescribed services. Serves as a resource person on health issues. Chronic disease management, and education. Collaborates with other child-support agencies in designing and providing a health program. Provides staff development on health-related topics Provides follow-up evaluations on children as required. Communicates with parents on health needs of children. Considerable knowledge of medical disorders, treatments, and child growth and development. Ability to identify abnormal growth and development and symptoms of disease. Effectively and correctly completes all nursing notes and
MARS Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred. Prior Pediatric experience preferred. Current CPR card. Level II Background screening required.
