Job Description
Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Deliver high-quality nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.Clinical Assessments:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans.Medication Administration:
Accurately administer medications and educate patients on their medication regimen.Treatment Implementation:
Implement prescribed treatments, such as IV therapy and catheter care.Patient Education:
Provide patient and family education on disease management, prevention, and self-care.Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, assessments, and interventions.Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Infection Control:
Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.Emotional Support:
Offer emotional support and compassion to patients and their families during challenging times.Requirements:
Licensure:
Current and valid LPN license in the state of Florida.Experience:
Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience as an LPN in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.Professionalism:
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.Transportation:
