As an LPN on the Family Medicine team, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system . A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM . A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide professional nursing care to patients. Administer medication. Recognize changes in patients' status and report pertinent information to Charge Nurse or Physicians. Maintain complete and accurate documentation in medical records and files. Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions . Implement pain management assessments and documentation. Perform patient teaching as needed under the supervision of RN/Physician. Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO. Follow Code Blue protocol. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate of Accredited LPN program Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross Knowledge of I nfection C ontrol P ractices Experience with technology Computer literacy Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: One year of clinical experience
