SlimFit WeightLoss & Wellness Center | Venice & Sarasota, FL SlimFit WeightLoss & Wellness Center is looking for a motivated, dependable, professional, and patient-focused Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical weight loss, wellness, and aesthetics environment. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide excellent customer service Room patients and prepare them for appointments Obtain and document vital signs, weight, and other basic patient information Update patient medical history, medication lists, and allergies as directed Assist providers with patient visits and examinations Prepare examination and treatment rooms Prepare supplies and equipment for patient appointments Administer weight-loss injections when permitted by the employee's license/certification, training, and applicable Florida laws and regulations, and as directed by the supervising provider Follow established injection, medication, documentation, and patient-safety protocols Document administered treatments accurately in the patient record Assist with patient intake forms and consents Maintain accurate and organized patient records Assist with appointment scheduling and patient flow Assist with patient follow-up communication as directed Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and properly stocked Follow HIPAA, infection-control, sanitation, and office safety procedures Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and team members Assist with general administrative and clinical duties as needed Provide a welcoming and professional patient experience Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant or active LPN license Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred Experience in medical weight loss, aesthetics, dermatology, wellness, or med spa settings is a plus Experience administering injections is preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and organized Ability to multitask in a busy medical office Comfortable learning new systems and procedures BLS certification preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus What We Offer Full-time position Competitive pay based on experience Employee discounts on SlimFit services Training and opportunities for professional growth Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to work in medical weight loss, wellness, and aesthetics
