Medical Assistant or LPN

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Women's Health team.

Position Overview Schedule:

Monday - Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00

Outpatient Office Role Type:

Clinical Support Key Responsibilities Patient Intake:

Room patients, obtain vital signs, and update medical histories (OB/GYN specific) in the EMR.

Clinical Assistance:

Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with pelvic exams, biopsies, colposcopies, and IUD insertions/removals.

Procedures & Testing:

Perform injections, phlebotomy, and basic laboratory tests (e.g., urinalysis, pregnancy tests).

Triage & Coordination:

Manage patient phone calls, communicate lab results, and handle prescription refills under provider supervision.

Sterilization:

Maintain clean exam rooms and ensure surgical instruments are properly sterilized via autoclave.

Qualifications Experience:

Prior experience in Women's Health or Primary Care is preferred.

Skills:

Proficiency in EMR systems, excellent phlebotomy skills, and a professional, empathetic bedside manner.

Reliability:

Ability to maintain a consistent M-F schedule to ensure continuity of care.

From $13.00 per hour
