Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a student in an engaging school environment near Dacula, GA. This onsite role is ideal for a skilled LPN with a passion for making a difference in pediatric care, offering the chance to work closely with a 5th grader requiring dedicated medical support throughout the school year. What you'll bring: Current, active LPN license in Georgia Prior experience with 1:1 nursing in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong background in managing G/J-tube feeding, oxygen administration, and monitoring vital signs Competence in seizure management, oral suctioning, and medication administration Knowledge of asthma protocols and emergency response Ability to start early mornings (meet student at home) and adapt to school bus routines Professionalism, reliability, and compassion with pediatric populations Core responsibilities: Meet the student at their home each morning and accompany them on the ride to and from school Provide g-tube feedings and supplemental oxygen as ordered Conduct frequent monitoring of vital signs throughout the school day Administer medications and manage seizure protocols efficiently Perform oral suctioning and support with asthma care as needed Ensure clear, accurate documentation and follow IEP and doctor instructions meticulously Foster a safe, supportive environment for the student both on the bus and at school This contracted position carries you through the 2026-2027 school year, Monday through Friday from 6:30am until school's end, giving you evenings and weekends off as you make a daily impact.
