35 hours available for May immediately Southern Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced pediatric home health nurse to provide one-on-one care for a 19-year-old client in Decatur, GA. Overview This client presents with complex neurological and developmental needs requiring close supervision and skilled support within the home setting. The patient has a diagnosis of intractable epilepsy with ongoing seizure activity, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and functional limitations affecting communication, safety awareness, and daily living activities. The nurse will play a critical role in seizure monitoring, medication oversight, patient safety, and supporting the client's ability to remain safely at home. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate nurse who is comfortable working independently in a one-on-one pediatric home care environment and experienced with high-acuity behavioral and neurological cases. Patient Overview Client has a history of: Intractable epilepsy Autism Spectrum Disorder Intellectual/developmental disabilities Limited verbal communication Gait instability and safety concerns Responsibilities Seizure monitoring and seizure first aid Medication administration and monitoring Respiratory monitoring during/post seizure activity Assistance with communication and safety supervision Documentation completed in accordance with agency standards Collaboration with family and care team Requirements Active Georgia RN license Pediatric home health experience

REQUIRED
