In this unique contract role, you'll provide individualized nursing care before, during, and after the school day, ensuring the student's safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Qualifications:

Active LPN license in the state of Georgia required Experience working 1:1 with students in a school setting highly preferred Confidence in caring for students with complex medical needs, including G-tube feeds, supplemental oxygen, asthma, and seizure management Proficiency in monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and oral suctioning Ability to maintain professional, compassionate communication with students, families, and educators Commitment to maintaining student privacy and adherence to IEP and medical directives

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide continuous care for a medically fragile elementary student from morning pick-up at the home, during bus transportation, throughout the school day, and during the afternoon return trip Administer g-tube feedings, supplemental oxygen, oral suctioning, and medications as prescribed Monitor the student for any changes in condtion, including managing potential seizures or asthma-related concerns Maintain accurate documentation of all care provided and promptly report concerns to the school's healthcare team Support the student's independence and participation in educational activities while prioritizing health and safety Enjoy working consistently Monday through Friday, from early morning to mid-afternoon.
