Job Description

Family Health Clinic is a rapidly growing primary/immediate care practice that is open 7 days a week with extended hours. Our diverse family of providers and staff take pride in practicing complete and comprehensive medicine by treating the entire patient, not just the problem. As a primary care practice, we serve patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. We are looking to add a Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse to our team. A candidate hired for this role will be the liaison between patients and our providers. As a primary care practice, we serve patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. All candidates will be required to float between our practice locations.
Position Summary:
Collect patient information and record the information into an electronic medical records system Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients Assist medical providers with patient examinations, emergencies, and medical procedures Collect lab specimens and operate diagnostic equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests Administer medications (orally, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous) as ordered by medical providers Communicate physician instructions to patients Represent the practice in healthcare quality, compliance, and customer service by maintaining confidentiality and optimal patient care
Qualifications:
Graduated from an accredited medical assistant program OR military medical services training program, OR hold a current
CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA
certification, OR LPN license, OR have been consistently working as a MA for last 5 years. Current BLS or CPR Experience with blood draws, injections, and IVs (required) Must be organized and able to work quickly and efficiently to assure patient comfort and satisfaction. Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment. Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency/Urgent Care (preferred) Ability to travel to other locations
