Reports To:
Provider/Practice Manager Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing medical practice. The ideal candidate will provide clinical support to healthcare providers, assist with patient care, and ensure efficient office operations while delivering exceptional customer service. ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties Administer IV therapies and injections as ordered by the provider. Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Assist providers during patient visits and treatments. Monitor patient responses to treatments and report concerns to the provider. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Patient Care & Communication Contact patients regarding test results, treatment plans, and follow-up appointments. Respond to patient inquiries and provide education as directed by the provider. Complete patient cases and manage tasks within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Coordinate care and communicate effectively with patients, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers. Medication Management Process prescription refill requests according to office protocols. Communicate with pharmacies regarding prescriptions and medication questions. Maintain medication inventory and supplies as needed. Administrative Support Ensure compliance with HIPAA and office policies. Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Support front and back office operations as needed. Qualifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred. IV certification and experience administering IV therapy preferred. Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements. Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience). Flexible part-time schedule.
